Hello! I'm booting up an in-person journal club for CLAS hoping to learn CLAS-related physics beyond my own research. I expressed this idea at the student+postdoc lunch during the Clas Collaboration meeting in November and many of you seemed interested! So, we will need a day and time for our first meet. Additionally, I will be the first person to introduce a paper, and it will be related to my own research. My idea is to give a 5-minute introduction of some basic ideas or subjects from the paper, leaving room for us to discuss or ask about anything unfimiliar to any of us. Hopefully, we leave the journal club session with new knowledge and questions. We don't know what most of us are working on, and it would be nice to learn how our works relate to eachother and to the general scope of CLAS.
