[clas_members] [EXTERNAL] Urgent information regarding the CLAS November meeting

Dear collaborators

You may be aware that the US government shutdown and budgetary uncertainties have affected several activities at JLab and require staff to charge vacation days during October. One further consequence is that the CLAS Collaboration planned for November is now at significant risk. 

Please do not submit a visit registration or arrange your travel until we have clarity on the situation. If JLab furloughs then JLab staff would not be able to participate even in a remote meeting.

This is a difficult time for our JLab colleagues and we appreciate that these issues have repercussions for the entire JLab community including our collaboration.

I will keep you updated with developments.
