We will have only an expert present in the counting room during the day and swing shifts, from 7 am to 11 pm. A new so-called worker "ghost" shifts will go into effect to help to run these single person shifts. We expect that: </div><div class="">- During the day, 7 am to 5 pm, the "ghost" shifter will be available in the Counting House within 15 minutes when receiving a call for assistance;</div><div class="">- During the evening, 5 pm to 11 pm, the "ghost" shifter can be available in the Counting House with an hour when receiving a call for assistance.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The worker "ghost" shifter responsibilities include:</div><div class="">1) Support the single shifter in the Counting House upon receiving a call.</div><div class="">2) Monitoring regularly the logbook posts, check over the data to help look for problems and issues. </div><div class="">3) Review the monitoring plots, should be done every 2-3 hours.</div><div class="">4) When issues/problems are found contact the shifter in the counting room immediately and if required interact with the detector subsystem expert to resolve the issue. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">There is an on-call cell phone available for the worker "ghost” shifters. The phone number is listed on the RG-F run wiki in the “Phone numbers” table. The phone must be picked up from the counting room at the beginning of the “ghost” shift and return to the counting room at the end of the shift.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><b class="">With this, we are asking from people available locally to volunteer for these shifts. Since the workload is NOT high for the "ghost" shifter, you can sign up for a full day for several days at a time (the most effective way to cover the shifts). Please let your institutional representative (ODU, CNU, WM, JLAB, and LOCALCo) or me or Bryan know which dates and hours you are available for the “ghost” shift.</b></div></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Regards, Stepan (PDL)</div><div class="">For the Hall-B management</div><div class=""><br class=""></div></div></body></html>
