We just had a PD/RC meeting; the good news is the spreader magnet with the new vacuum chamber is in place, the initial survey and alignment are done, vacuum connections are done, and pumping has started. The results of the pumping startup are encouraging. But
there is still no ETA for the beam to the halls. Definitely, there will be no beam during the day shift as another survey and alignment and more pumping with ion pumps must go on. Only after that operation will start the restoration of the machine.<br class="">
