On Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 9-11 a.m., a labwide emergency response exercise (full participation for those working on-site) will take place at Jefferson Lab. Several areas of the lab will be affected directly and clearly marked, and all on-site personnel will
be prompted to take actions via email, text and cellphone-call alerts from the RAVE communications system. If you have a hybrid schedule or work off-site and plan to be at the lab on the day of the exercise, it is important that you follow the RAVE alert actions.<br>
<br>
Actions may include sheltering in place. Sheltering in place means remaining indoors and ensuring all exterior windows and doors are closed. Follow all prompts issued via RAVE and plan ahead during this time, as security guards will not allow access to buildings
and locations, including the accelerator site, while the exercise is underway. Review the following details in advance of the exercise: </span></span>
