Dear offliners,

the effort of making clas12 software available to everybody is
culminating in having it on the JLAB repository (there's one available,
set up by Dave Lawrence for Hall-D).

pre-built binaries, libraries and include files will be available for
several architectures.
The question is: what are the most used linux flavors used by CLAS users?

These are the OS that will have guaranteed support:

CentOs (the OS that CC will install on the farm)
Fedora 64 bit (this is on my desktop, for now it's 9 but will be 11 soon)
Mac OS X
Scientific Linux 4.5 and 5.1 (used at Saclay and Genoa)

You can reply to this e-mail and send me your Linux flavor request
(including number of bits). I'll choose a couple of the most requested
and built the rpms.

best,
mauri
