previously been available only on claswebnew has been merged into the main
clasweb content area (in /group/clas/www/clasweb). Claswebnew has been
reconfigured to serve tehe same content as clasweb. The apps that were
previously running on claswebnew (MantisBT, etc) seem to be working correctly.
I am now working on finishing up the tomcat configuration and setting up the
logbook and clasonline webapps.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>I tested some URLs on both
clasweb and claswebnew. Many appeared to work without problem. Some, definitely
had problems, in some cases, the logs indicated problems finding various Perl
libraries. I’ll eventually compile a list of any missing libraries and
get them installed. The newer, RHEL5 system doesn’t have all the old perl
libs, etc. in some cases.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>To recap: Everything should
currently look about the same as before the holidays. Not all content works on claswebnew
yet, but I am working on it. Behind the scenes, the directories are now all

to be the primary production server.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

the new clasweb server. To do so, the first step is to merge the newer content
that is currently served by claswebnew (from a different DocumentRoot) into the
existing DocumentRoot of clasweb. Once done, I’ll test that claswebnew
serves all the content (new and old correctly). Please be aware that URLs
you’ve used recently containing claswebnew (particularly MantisBT, DocDB
and the TPE Wiki) will all be intermittently unavailable as the merge takes
place. I hope to have all of this stable and operational by this evening. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
