Summary of the PRAD preparation meeting September 25, 2024:
1.
PRAD suppose to run in November 2025.
2.
To start electronics installation, signal cables from calorimeter to FADCs have to be rerouted to reach new FADC locations, it have to be done asap.
3.
Some fibers have to be installed in the PRAD area, work scope being evaluated and there is a chance it will be done before next run startup.
4.
New PRAD electronics includes 7 VXS crates with CPU, SD, VTP and TI boards, as well as 108 FADC boards. FADCs and CPUs are in production and expected to be delivered soon, after that intensive evaluation and testing will be conducted because of board's new design. All other units are already on site and ready for installation.

Trigger system will has following components:
* random pulser from TI
* fixed freq pulser from light monitoring system
* total energy from calorimeter
* calorimeter cluster finder with following control: the number of clusters, single cluster threshold, energy sum of all clusters
NOTE: the possibility of the cluster finder implementation depends on channel mapping, it will be discussed between PRAD team and Ben Raydo
6.
Significant work for GEM readout integration into PRAD DAQ will be needed, taking into account that GEM electronics is new for HallB, it will be discussed on following meetings
7.
HV mainframes and boards have to be checked and probably fixed/upgraded, since they were not used for a while
8.
TAGE crate have to be integrated into PRAD DAQ, it may require new fiber between two locations
9.
In addition to calorimeter, few FADC channels will be connected to scintillation counters. Those counters will not be part of the trigger system
