Dear Collaborators,

You may have seen invitations from the different working groups for talks at the next collaboration meeting, and in particular for flash (5-10 minute) talks. I would just like to encourage any new students and postdocs, or anyone with early preliminary work that is still in progress, to give one of these flash talks. In general this is helpful for yourselves to become more comfortable with presenting at collaboration meetings and also to get early feedback on your work from a wide audience so that you can implement this in your work as early as possible. For the collaboration in general such talks are helpful as they allow for a quick overview of the various analyses that are ongoing and their status.

If you are unsure who to contact to sign up to give a talk at the collaboration meeting then please feel free to reach out to me.

Following on from the discussions at the last collaboration meeting, I was also planning to organise a session for practice talks before the collaboration meeting. If you would be interested in this, could you please let me know, and if you would prefer Friday the 21st of June or Monday the 24th . I aim to hold this in person and remotely.

Thanks,
Richard
