Dear Sergio and al,

Finally you managed to get this paper out! Congratulations! The results are a nice addition to the data base on strangeness production.

However I am concerned by the fact no word is said about FSI. Any sensible referee will ask you the question of their size.

It turns out that I provided you with an estimate of the cross section in plane wave and with the KN and Sigma N rescattering included, for typical kinematics. The model is the trivial extension (isospin!!) of the Guidal-Laget-Vanderhaehghen seminal Regge model (NP A627, 645 (1997)) for the elementary amplitde on the neutron , and of my paper PRC75, 014002 (2007) for the rescattering.

The minimum that you should do is to give the size of the corrections which are expected in typical kinematics. Since the correction is small (lower than 10 per cent), you don\'t need to correct the data that are presented (and still present uncorrected data). But this will improve the quality of the paper and will give to the reader a quantitative estimate of those corrections.

All the best,

JM
