Hello Mikhail et al.,

I read your draft paper \"Measurement of the Nucleon Structure
Fucntion...Evaluation of its Moments.\" I think it is well written,
albeit quite dense. My comments are only related to clarity of the
text and some suggestions for presentation.

Abstract: you use the phrase \"x-space\" here and in several places in
the body of the article. At first I thought this was some new or
special concept I was not aware of, but it seems that all you mean in
\"observables displayed as a function of Bjorken x.\" It might be worth
making this explicit, not here in the abstract but at the place it
first appears in the main text.

Page 2, end of first paragraph: you mention a \"Mellin transform\" but
then never use the term or the concept again. Perhaps remove this
phrase, or else add a literature reference to its definition.

Reference 4: you cite this on page 2. I notice that it is just an
arXiv entry. Has this paper not been published by now?

Page 6, 3rd parageaph: This paragraph make CLAS seem as though it has
many acceptance and efficiency issues. Of course it really does have
well known issues, but we know how to deal with them. The reader
cannot tell from the text how big an issue these effects are for this
analysis. Perhaps you could add a sentence: \"These cuts along the
edges of the acceptance removed about XX% of the recorded data\" where
XX is, I hope, a small number.

Page 9 reference 48: why is the reference to the Weizacker-Williams
forumla pointing to a paper by Brodsky?

Page 11, Figure 5: The caption to this figure is very hard to read:
there is a serious problem with the punctuation. How about \"Z-vertex
distribution for THE CARBON TARGET IN (OPEN HISTOGRAM) ,(COMMA) and
CARBON TARGET OUT (hatched histogram) at Eo=...\"

Page 14, Figures 6 and 7 are out of order.

Page 17 Figure 7: I cannot see the \"full squares\" that show the
previous data. Are they not plotted, or are they hidden under the new
data points? In either case, it would help to make them easily
visible.

Page 19 Figure 9: this is your main experimental result. I suggest
making this plot bigger, with bigger labels, so the reader gets the
idea that this is an important part of your paper.

Page 21: Table 2: This table failed to print on my printer. Maybe it
is a fluke, but you might check whether the formatting is really OK.

Page 30 end of paragraph 1: incorrect use of the apostrophe in the
phrase \"in the moment\'s space\". Use \"in the moment space\".

That is all. Good luck with the publication.

Regards,
Reinhard
