Comments on the draft dated 09/20/2010 -
- p1, right column 4th line, should be \"complex nucleus\" not \"nucleon\"
- p3, right column, line 11, remove \"above 2.5 GeV\', EC is used for all momenta
- p3, right column, sentence started at line 15 confusing, better to write \"In the g3a experiment, real photons tagged in the energy range from 0.35 to ...\"
- p3, right column, move sentence \"About 10^9 triggers ...\" to the end of the paragraph, after describing the trigger.
- p4, left column, first paragraph, line 3, should be +/-1 ns
- p4, left column, first paragraph, line 8, beam bucket is not 2-ns-wide, it is due to our TOF resolution
- p4, left column, second paragraph, line 5, instead of \"time-of-flight detectors\" write \"scintillation counters\"
- Fig. 5, explain in the text what mass2 is plotted. Why negative values of mass2 are discarded? Due to TOF resolution, TOF mass2 can be negative for pions
- Fig. 6 and related text, the same problem with MM2, the value of missing mass can be negative due to detector resolution, while in the graph only positive side is shown
- p4, right column, remove last paragraph, you started next chapter (C) with the same sentence.
- presentation of CMm angles are very confusing, they appear in different forms (lower case or upper case) with or without subscript, in one case it is superscript. This must be corrected, the same angle should be with the same font and superscripts or subscripts every where, in the text and on the figures
- p5, left column, cut 4 and cut 1 seems are redundant, can you show dependence \\Delta cos(theta) vs cos\\theta_\\pi+cos\\theta_t
- p6, left column, last paragraph, you wrote that \"value of each of these cuts is optimized such that the ...\", little suspicious. your cuts seems are round numbers. Besides it is not a good strategy to do cuts like that. In order to reproduce them in the simulations and get correct acceptances, cuts on variables that are detector resolution dependent must be in units of resolution of that parameter.
- p6, right column, last paragraph, why photon spectrum was not generated according to bremsstrahlung spectrum?
- p7, right column, the value of l should be 155 mm or 15.5 cm
- p7, right column, do not capitalize word tagger
- p8, left column, what is the definition of Q2, is it transferred momentum of the square of triton three momentum, I think these are different things
