Hello Rakhsha,

Here are some last-minute comments on your paper. Please take or
leave them as you wish; I don\'t want to hold up submission of the
paper.

I have read both the original and the revised version of the paper.
You have some interesting results that are sure to generate some
attention. The paper is well written, I think.

Page 2 column 2, first line: typo \"squared\" --> \"square\"

Page 3, Table 1: As a reader, I find this table not useful. I cannot
tell what I am supposed to learn from it. There are no uncertainties
given, so I can\'t even tell if anything is \"happening\" in this
corrections. It does not seem to help make the \"case\" for the
results. I would delete this table,

Page 5 column 1, second paragraph: talk of optimizing cuts to maximize
\"good\" events is worrisome. This is not how one should be deciding
how to determine the best cuts. Better would be to be able to say
\"two sigma cuts were applied to each of the relevant quantities, and
the stability of the results was checked by varying these cuts to 3
sigma and 1 sigma.\"

Figure 9: Can you make the horizontal scale go out only to 4 GeV?
This would make this figure exactly comparable to Figure 4.

Table III: it is not explained why you place upper limits on the
acceptance and the cuts uncertainties. Are they angle and energy
dependent? If this is the case you could add a sentence to explain
this.

Fig 11: no where do you say why there is no data for small pion
angles. I assume it is because you cannot catch the coincident tritons
at large angles. It might be worth mentioning this.

Page 9: summary paragraph: the sentence \"It is important to
emphasize...\" may be a true statement, but it is also content-free. I
would delete this sentence.

Good job!
Reinhard.
