Just a few minor comments:

1) In the abstract 1st sentence, I would write "...in semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering of 5.776 GeV polarized electrons from (or off) an unpolarized hydrogen target, using the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS) at the Thomas Jefferson...". This seems a more logical progression. I also don't understand why in the next sentence you use "...in the distribution of the cross section RATIO" - isn't it "cross section ASYMMETRY"?

2) First sentence of the main text: "In recent years, it HAS BECOME clear that..."

line 12: no comma after "TMDs,"

line 33: no comma

line 158-9: Not entirely clear what you did - did you count each single event several times, for each possible combination of photons into pairs? Or did you select whatever pair gave you the closest invariant mass to the pion and used that one? Please clarify. Also clarify 162-165 - why did you use only "the linear component" of the fit to subtract combinatorial background? Or do you mean by that "the polynomial background"?

line 180-1: "...which selects the semi-inclusive region" is a bit awkward. Don't you want to say that you chose the z-range to select the current fragmentation region?

189-90: Again, "the linear component" is a bit confusing

219-220: Are the 3% estimated uncertainty on radiative corrections included in the systematic error bands? Should be specified.

235: "which TAKE only..." (not TAKES). Do you have any conclusions about the validity of this model?

Just out of curiosity: did you also look at the z-dependence? Is that not worth mentioning?

Finally, please remove my name and that of any CLAS collaborator who signs on to the paper from the list of people you thank, since an author cannot very well thank himself! ;-)

Greetings - Sebastian
