Dear Dustin and Ken,
here my comments:

1) For many of the figure the y-axis doesn't start from 0, this make sometimes hard to understand the
distributions. For example in fig. 11, how is the Monte Carlo distribution under the pion peak?

2) page 2 section "THE EXPERIMENT"
I wonder why you quote a 2% resolution in the photon energy. Shouldn't it be ~1/767 ~ 0.001?

3) page 3, left column, last sentence
"... it is possible that some kaons could be misidentified as pions." -> "... it is possible that some PIONS could be misidentified as KAONS."

4) page 9, section "RESULTS"
I would start this section by presenting your final results (the text around eq. (16) in page 10) and then discuss the systematics, because all the various contributions are calculated as difference with your nominal value of R.

5) You should add some comment on the value of the partial width in eq. (17). It seems that your value is larger than all the calculations in table I, so what can we learn from that?

6) page 10 left column, last paragraph before the thanks
I don't like too much it, it seems like you are underrating your results. The improvement you got with respect to previous measurements is about a factor 3 in terms of statistics and about a factor of 2 in terms of systematics. In the introduction, you quoted a 10% as the minimal precision required for comparison with models, and that's what you obtained!

Best regards,
Marco
