I left out one comment in my previous posting that is relevant. In your first paragraph you mentioned that "The stude of hyperon polarization gives an important insight into the mechanism of ssbar pair
creation ...". An entirely relevant reference is our own CLAS paper that explicitly approached this very point, see D.S. Carman et al. (CLAS Collaboration), "First Measurement of Transferred Polarization in the Exclusive ep → e'K+Λ Reaction", Phys. Rev. Lett. 90, 131804 (2003). This was also followed up a few years later with a second paper D.S. Carman et al. (CLAS Collaboration), "Beam-Recoil Polarization Transfer in the Nucleon Resonance Region in the Exclusive ep → e'K+Λ and ep → e'K+Σ0 Reactions", Phys. Rev. C 79, 065205 (2009). I believe that both of these papers should be cited as part of this argument.
