Hello Slava et al.,
I have skimmed your paper and appreciate the huge effort you
have put into these results of the BONuS program. My few comments are
going to be only related to the surface appearance and structure of
the paper.
Abstract, -4 lines from end: your wording strikes me as odd for an
abstract. No need to say here "...on the structure...ratio is made
available and..." It seems like you can just remove those words, and
the rest of the sentence makes your real point.
Page 8 Figure 5: I could not figure out what the bottom-left
projection shows. It would be better if the caption makes this
explicit.
Lines 762 and 787: use "the following selection cuts:" I know this is
picky, but the word "cuts" can be misunderstood to mean "cutting away"
or "rejection". Adding the word "selection" avoids this possibility.
Figure 17: since this is one of your "money plots", I would consider
making it two columns wide. As it stands, lots of the interesting
little wiggles that you want the reader to see are nearly invisible.
Figure 20: the labels are messed up or missing.
References: It is customary in our CLAS papers to put the web page
link to PhD theses in the reference section. This applies to
References 58, 59, and 70.
Cheers,
Reinhard Schumacher
