Hi All,

This paper is very well constructed, and takes the reader through a
long story in a clean, structured way. The paper is didactic enough
that non-experts can follow what you are doing, which I certainly
appreciated. While not read it word-for-word, I do have a few
comments on things noticed along the way:

Line 101: I would use "insofar"; that is the standard expression.

Fig.7+: Nice use of offset systematic error bands. This is the first
time I've seen this used, and I find it effective.

Figs. 10, 13: The open squares showing SLAC data look magenta, not
purple. Changing that would make the word usage consistent with Fig. 14+.

Fig. 15: A very impressive summary figure. The only slightly odd
feel about it is the placement of the left and right panels. I would
have swapped them.

Fig 19: the dashed line at zero is nearly invisible, unlike the line
in Fig.18. Consider making it heavier.

Line 1130: need to fill in reference.

Line 1137: fix ".."

This paper deserves quick approval from the referees!

Reinhard
