Dear Authors,

I have several comments for your consideration. My main problem is that the physics
which you bring up is questionable and sensitive for me.

Leading Author list: You have to mark that Barry passed away.

Abstract, lines 9&10: I do not think that is necessary to say 'first measurements'
twice.

Abstract, line 11: It does require rephrase. It is not good to have negative
emotions in Abstract.

1.A: pg 1, left: This motivation is good for unpolarized measurements. The
scaling interpretation of the polarized measurements is cloud specifically for
such low energies as experiment did. A while ago, Stan Brodsky suggested that
is good to look for the ratio gd/ed, not gd alone. Let me suggest to rewrite
this Section to prevent scaling speculations.

Line 929: "Energy distribution" ==> "Excitation function". Your title may
confuse your readers.

Kind Regards,
Igor Strakovsky
