Dear Eugene, et al.,
A comprehensive analysis that makes the case for electroproduction measurements at higher Q2. Here are a few suggestions, which may be repeat issues from other collaborators:
- line 25: you may need to explain what is meant by $\gamma_{r,v} p N^{\star}$ (i.e. real and virtual)
- line 29: from the CLAS -> from CLAS
- line 111: state decay to -> states decaying to
- Fig 1 caption: the vertical lines do not look dotted on my printout; perhaps just say "The vertical lines show..."
- Fig 1 caption, line 3: from aluminum -> from an aluminum
- line 370: statistic -> statistical
- line 377 + 3 lines: capable to simulate -> capable of simulating
- FIG 9: is is possible to have e.g. one set of data points filled and the other open? Even though the shapes are different, the two data sets are not easy to resolve visually.
- FIG 10: The two data sets look like they have been offset horizontally to aid visualisation. If so, this should probably be stated in the caption.
- lines 458-462: The sentence is confusing and needs re-wording (although I do not think it is wrong!). How about: "The raw data are subject to radiative effects, as are the parameterized values, so they can be compared directly."
-line 499: we apply 2$\sigma$ cut -> we apply a 2$\sigma$ cut
- line 509: in the Table -> in Table
- TABLE1: This is too small, suggest \textwidth for this float.
- line 555: in the Table -> in Table
- line 581: lack of the experimental -> lack of experimental
- Acknowledgments: Please include " The UK's Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC".
Best wishes,
Dave
