There is clearly some careful analysis work that should be reported, but I am not confident that the paper in its present state could be published in PRL. A significant re-write of the abstract, introduction and conclusion will be required to make this accessible to a wider readership. You may well have put all the relevant details in, but unless the less-knowledgeable reader can make sense of it, there is little chance of it being accepted, let alone cited.

It is not clear what the main message is. Is it the inadequacy of the (one) handbag model? If so, what is the importance of the finding?

Sorry to be negative, but it would be a shame not to have the hard work of the analysis published for want of some easier-to-read text.
