Folks,

I have read through the draft of your paper on the EMC effect and SRC
nucleons that was distributed for review. I only have a few comments given
the length of the paper. I am not sure that I fully understood everything in
the text as the length restrictions have forced you to craft some very dense
statements that contain a lot of information that I did not necessarily fully
grasp. If you have any questions, let me know. A very nice paper.

Regards,
Daniel

General:
 - You are not consistent in the manuscript with your speed of light units. Please
   review.

- Line 44. Use "... transferred energy is relatively ...".
- Line 58. Use "... DIS measurement performed by ...".
- Fig. 1. It is not clear to me what this figure is supposed to be showing. I could
  make no sense of it.
- Fig. 1 caption. Line 6. Use "Otherwise (20% of the time) ...".
- Fig. 2:
  - Poor quality figure - grainy and hard to read.
  - What is the purpose of the blue arrow between the figures?
  - What are the subfigures in the lower left of each plot supposed to convey?
  - Caption title. I suggest "Universality of SRC pair quark distributions".
- Line 130. Use "... as the np-SRC ...".
- Line 165. End eq.(1) with a comma.
- Line 184. End eq.(2) with a comma.
- Line 228. Use "... we extracted ...".
- Fig. 3 title. Use "Growth and saturation of ...".
- Line 298. Use "... a_2^n(A/d), respectively.".
- Line 390. Ref. 12 is incomplete.
- Ref. 23 does not exist.
- I suggest that you include the collaboration names within the citations.
