Hello B. Zhao et al.,

I have looked over your draft CLAS paper "Measurement of the beam
spin asymmetry ... with CLAS" dated March 19 2018.   As far as I can
tell it is a well written paper with solid results, and my comments
are very few.

Line 28:  Instead of the word "unknown" I think it would be better to
use "unexplored".    After all, you know that they exist, but they
just have not been looked at.

line 33: typo "constraining"

Eq 1:  I assume you have two equations here jammed together.   Put
them on separate lines.

line 227:  I think you should expand the phrase "corresponding beam
charge" since I think the casual reader will not understand what you
mean here.

line 232:  It is not clear what you mean by "first-order bin centering
corrections" at this place.   Either expand the explanation by adding
a sentence, or, if it is not important, remove mention of it.

Figs 4 and 5:  Both figures have a cramped appearance.   I think it
comes mainly from the awkward spacing of the characters in the text
boxes.   Put spaces around the "=" signs and  remove spaces where they
are not needed next to "<" and ">" signs.
