Just a couple of comments to think about:
* Figure 3: the results of the fits are too small to read comfortably, and the numbers have too many significant figures. The x- and y- axis label font sizes are also different.

* You use equation 3 as the model from which to estimate the moments of interest. Since it is a quotient, there will be correlations among the fit parameters. You state that the other (uninteresting?) moments show a significant magnitude, so there should really be a mention of the covariance from the fits. It may be small, but that should at least be reported.
