Dear Dave,
Thank you for your comments and for your suggestion to use the color
gradient scheme and to further advocate for such a presentation.
Once I tried the gradient palette for Fig.2 and different colors for
targets, I realized how much clearer the main message of the plot stands
out. It is very helpful to be aware of the formal guidelines now and in
future, based on "Vary hue to distinguish categories" where categories
are various targets and "Vary luminance to represent numbers" where
numbers are z-bins. In the upcoming CLAS12 experiment we will have
multi-fold measurements where such presentations will be widely used. As
far as Fig.3, the clustering of various symbols around the center of each z
bin is indeed used to illustrate the commonality in values of multiplicity
ratio for various Q2 and nu. I appreciate having confirmation that this
message came across clear.
In regards to the acknowledgments, I somehow did not find a standard
template of acknowledgments in the opt-in database, there is only
'GetAuthors' option for the paper. I borrowed the full list of various
funders from a recently published paper. Thanks for bringing this to my
attention.
