Nice paper, thank you. Here are some comments:
- line 245, why single out pronouns and deuteron scatterings only? CLAS12 runs with a variety of polarized and unpolarized targets, and its performance is not target dependent.
- line 255, the forward detector coverage starts at 5 degrees, not 0 degrees.
- line 269, it is better to spell it out âprotonâ instead of âpâ. The \ Lambda decay channel is introduced a few lines below.
- lines 281 and 282, statements âwithin 12.5 cmâ and âexcluding the beamline and target exit window,â unclear. The target is 5 cm, so any interval of 12.5 cm will include the target windows. Maybe it should be âexcluding the scattering chamber exit windowâ?
- Fig.3 and Eq.(15), the plot in the figure represents D_{LLâsig}, before background correction, is not it? The Y-axis label says D_{LLâ}^\Lambda.
