Hi All, This paper is very well constructed, and takes the reader through a long story in a clean, structured way. The paper is didactic enough that non-experts can follow what you are doing, which I certainly appreciated. While not read it word-for-word, I do have a few comments on things noticed along the way: * We would like to express our appreciation for your encouraging and reassuring comments and thank you for all the suggestions you made. We tried our best to implement all your suggestions and created the following report. We apologize for any delay on this response. We wanted to fix all the suggestions together and generate a new version of the paper before sending our replies. Line 101: I would use "insofar"; that is the standard expression. * Done. Fig.7+: Nice use of offset systematic error bands. This is the first time I've seen this used, and I find it effective. * Thanks. Figs. 10, 13: The open squares showing SLAC data look magenta, not purple. Changing that would make the word usage consistent with Fig. 14+. * Yes we agree and changed the wording accordingly to magenta. Fig. 15: A very impressive summary figure. The only slightly odd feel about it is the placement of the left and right panels. I would have swapped them. * We appreciate your feedback on this issue. This has been discussed and there are different views. Arguments were made for either arrangement. In the current arrangement, we wanted to first show the whole data set and then zoom into a region of special interest. Fig 19: the dashed line at zero is nearly invisible, unlike the line in Fig.18. Consider making it heavier. * We changed the coloring to a heavier tone and also made it consistent across all similar figures. Line 1130: need to fill in reference. * The "supplemental material" will be stored by Phys. Rev. C and they will generate the correct reference afterwards for this item. This follows the footsteps of the precedent papers. Line 1137: fix ".." * Fixed. This paper deserves quick approval from the referees! * Thank you again. We certainly also hope so. Reinhard
