Experimental Nuclear Physics Faculty Position
College of William and Mary
The Department of Physics of the College of William and Mary invites
applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in
experimental nuclear physics, to begin Fall 2010. The successful
candidate is expected to establish an internationally recognized
research program that complements and enhances the existing strengths
in the department, which has about 30 faculty members and 60 PhD
graduate students. The department has at present 4 faculty members
active in experimental nuclear physics, with a broad program centering
on hadronic and electroweak physics at nearby Jefferson Lab. William
and Mary has a strong tradition of excellent teaching, and the
successful candidate will be expected to play an important role in
both the undergraduate and doctoral programs of the Physics
