outstanding candidate to fill an open tenure-track assistant professor 
position in nuclear theory. We note that the application deadline is early

The Department of Physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder seeks a 
tenure-track assistant professor in theoretical nuclear physics to begin 
August 2011. The position is open to any nuclear physics specialization, 
but especially in the area of QCD and the understanding of extreme phases 
of nuclear matter.  Partial funding of the position is available through 
the JET Topical Collaboration supported through the U.S. Department of 
Energy. The candidate is expected to take an active role in undergraduate 
and graduate teaching, conduct an active research program, and advise 
Ph.D. students. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications 
and experience.  For full consideration all application materials
