Dear Colleagues,
The agenda for the upcoming EIC meeting at Stony Brook is now almost
complete,
thanks to the steering committee and others from the machine groups who
contributed
heavily over the last few days/weeks. Please have a look at it, plan to
attend and
participate in the discussions that will ensue. Please forward this

you think might be interested in the discussions/meeting & the EIC project.

Other highlights:
QCD-Lectures for students and others:
If you have students, post doctoral fellows or other young participants
interested or
getting interested in the EIC physics, please encourage them to attend
the meeting
and especially the QCD-Lectures on Sunday 1/10 afternoon. Thanks to the
managements
of BNL, JLab & RIKEN-BNL Research Center, some financial assistance is
possible
towards (partial) support of their visit. Please contact me for details.
Hotel and Transportation:
The information about hotels, transportation etc. is also linked from
the meeting home.
The local hotels are not only giving us a concessional rates, but will
also provide, if
necessary, daily transportation to and from Stony Brook Campus. For
transportation to
and from the Collaboration Dinner site we have arranged a bus as well.
