[Cuga] Updated Accelerator Schedule, Firm through September 2010 – A message from Larry Cardman

In view of the problems with radiation damage during the execution of 
the PREx experiment in Hall A and the delays in the completion of the 
installation of QWeak, we have made some revisions to the near-term 
accelerator schedule.  The major change is to slide the start of the 
summer down from July 23 (as originally scheduled) to August 14 (the 
length of the down remains fixed, so the startup after the summer down 
has been shifted by the same amount).  In addition, we have extended the 
portion of the schedule identified as firm through September 30, 2010, 
and added a test run for the A’ search that was conditionally approved 
by PAC35.  The revised and updated schedule is posted

A decision on the details of the schedule between October 1 and the end 
of Calendar Year 2010 will be taken in June after a detailed evaluation 
of the running possibilities in Hall B has been completed.
