Workshop on Opportunities for Polarized He-3 in RHIC and EIC
Second announcement
   
The workshop takes place 28-30 September at BNL, and we invite
you to register at the workshop website:

There is no registration fee. For a very limited number of participants 
financial
assistance for travel can be provided. Please contact us as soon as 
possible if you
need such assistance.  

The website also allows for submission of the title and talk of your 
presentation.
   
The program will have sessions on the following topics:
- He-3 source
- He-3 in Booster/AGS
- He-3 in RHIC/EIC
- polarimetry, low energy
- polarimetry, high energy
- physics with He-3 (theory and experiments in RHIC/EIC)


We have invited 11 speakers for these topics, of which 10 have confirmed 
already. A
draft agenda is available at the web site.
      
The website also has a link to the BNL housing site with information on 
accommodations
on-site and off-site. A number of rooms have been reserved on-site at 
our BNL Guest
House and Male/Female Dormitories.
   
Please note:
If you are a Non-U.S. Citizen and do not have a current BNL Appointment, 
you must
complete a BNL Guest Information Form. Registering in GIS does not
automatically register you for this event. If you have a current BNL 
Appointment and a
valid BNL Guest Number or you have a pending Guest
Registration (GR) Number, it is not necessary to complete the GIS 
registration again.
Please complete the BNL Guest Information Form as soon as possible if 
you plan to
attend, but latest 20 working days before your arrival.

Visa Letters and Letters of Invitation:  
Should a visa letter or invitation letter be?required for your trip, 
please email your
request to Anna Petway at petway at bnl.gov.  

She will be able to send you a PDF to start the process and original in the
postal?mail to follow.
