Faculty Position in Experimental Nuclear and Elementary Particle Physics

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, 
Los Angeles invites applications for a tenure track, assistant professor 
position in experimental nuclear and elementary particle physics. The 
department is seeking outstanding candidates with the potential for 
exceptional research and excellence in teaching, and also a clear 
commitment to enhancing the diversity of the faculty, graduate student 
population, and of the majors in physics and astronomy. The UCLA 
Department of Physics and Astronomy has very active research programs in 
nuclear and particle physics that include Heavy Ion Collisions and Spin 
Physics at RHIC, CMS Collider Physics at LHC, Direct and Indirect Dark 
Matter Detection, Very High Energy Cosmic Neutrinos, Gamma-Ray 
Astronomy, and Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay. Candidates from all 
nuclear and particle physics areas are invited to apply, particularly 
those from RHIC, 0??? and LHC physics. Applicants should submit a 
curriculum vita, a statement of research interests, a list of 
publications, and arrange to have no more than three letters of 
recommendation sent to:
