[Cuga] **Reminder**Users Board of Directors Elections- A message from Sebastian Kuhn

Dear Jefferson Lab Users,

Once again, we need to elect new members to the Users Group Board of 
Directors (UGBoD) - the body representing all of you to Jefferson Lab 
and the world at large. This year we need to choose three regular 
members ("at-large") and the UGBoD representatives for Graduate Students 
as well as for Postdoctoral Researchers. Most importantly, we will elect 
the "Chair-elect" of UGBoD who will become the new chair in June 2013. 
All new terms begin in June 2012. Clearly, this is a very important 
election - please take part!
I thank the nominating  committee (Chair: Eric Christy, members: Ron 
Gilman, Raffaella DeVita and Benni Zihlmann) for nominating an 
excellent  slate of candidates who are willing to stand for election. 
Bio sketches of the candidates can be accessed next to their names on 
the ballot page (link below).

Your vote is important and the process should take very little of your 
time. I urge you to participate by voting  earlier rather than later. 
The election will close on Monday April 30, 2012 (COB). The newly 
elected members will be announced at the June 04-06 Users Group Meeting 
( http://conferences.jlab.org/ugm/index.html ). Their term begins  at  
the end of that meeting.
