Dear Colleagues,
the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Mainz and the
Collaborate Research Center 1044
is organizing a workshop on
PWA Tools in Hadron Spectroscopy
from February 18-20, 2013 at the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Mainz.
The aim of this workshop is to bring people together, working on
different aspects of baryon resonance spectroscopy, in particular
- from electron scattering with meson production (ELSA, JLAB, MAMI),
- from J/Psi decays into Baryons and Antibaryons (BES),
- from pp scattering with meson production (Compass, Panda, ...)
It is planned to discuss about the tools that are existing in the
different communities and how we could combine different types of
analyses in order to improve the baryon resonance spectrum.
We invite you to this workshop and would like to ask you to
go to our workshop webpage through the following link http://conference.kph.uni-mainz.de/pwa2013/ There you can find additional information.
Especially we would like to ask you to do the formal registration as
soon as possible and tell us a preliminary title for your talk.
The workshop will have some overview talks on Monday morning and talks
on special topics in the afternoon and on Tuesday. We further plan
discussion sessions to give us plenty of time for more detailed
discussions on the tools and how to combine them from different
analyses. On Wednesday morning we plan a longer round table discussion
to find out the possibilities to form a collaboration for such analyses
among different groups. The workshop ends on Wednesday after lunch.
