Dear Colleagues,
I would like to inform you that talk slides are available for the recent
J-PARC theory workshop on Feb.9-11, 2012 on the web page
http://j-parc-th.kek.jp/workshops/2012/02-09/program.html .
We did not advertise this workshop internationally in advance
because the number of talks is rather limited.
The Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies of KEK decided
to start theoretical activities in the new group, the J-PARC
branch of the KEK theory center, from last year by assigning
five visiting staff members in addition to four permanent staff
members of the KEK theory center in the field of hadron and
nuclear theory. This new branch aims at promoting theoretical
activities on the J-PARC projects. The information is provided at
http://j-parc-th.kek.jp/html/English/e-index.html .
Although main activities start from strangeness hadron physics,
we hope to extend the activities to other fields of hadron physics
and possibly including particle physics.
We hope your cooperation in the theory activities at this J-PARC
site. Your suggestions are welcome. Please inform us if you have
any comments and suggestions.
Best Regards, Shunzo Kumano, J-PARC Branch, KEK Theory Center
