[Cuga] 12 GeV White Paper Comments - Update

We are in the final stages of editing a White Paper on the 12 GeV JLab 
physics program, as part of our preparation for providing input to the 
NSAC Long Range Plan Implementation Subcommittee. This White Paper is 
written with the purpose of informing the wider nuclear physics 
community about the physics program of JLab after the 12 GeV upgrade. We 
have constrained the material to cover the set of PAC approved 
experiments, and have had to make many judgments and choices of ordering 
and which topics to emphasize. Clearly, to produce a concise document it 
was not possible to treat every topic comprehensively.


We would like to provide JLab users an opportunity to comment on the 
current draft. We therefore set up a website, available to current users 
with active computer accounts at 
https://misportal.jlab.org/mis/apps/physics/whitepaper_feedback/index.cfm. 
This website will give you access to the draft text and a window to 
enter comments to the writing committee. Your comments will be 
identified with you, through your use of your login and password, so 
will not be anonymous. *All comments will be due by July 3. *

The writers will review all submitted comments. Clearly we will not be 
able to satisfy all opinions and concerns, but we will try to give all 
comments some consideration, particularly if there are misleading or 
incorrect statements in the text. Of course, constructive comments that 
can be addressed by minor corrections without major rewrites are more 
likely to receive action.

On behalf of the writers, I would like to thank you all in advance for 
your help with this process. We are hopeful that this procedure will 
help us to produce an improved final document in the next few weeks.
