Jefferson Lab Users,

Many of you will recall that last summer we conducted a survey of users
asking you to describe your
experience with the scientific computing systems at JLab. We had 118
people complete the survey.
Find the results linked from
https://wiki.jlab.org/cugwiki/index.php/Scientific_Computing_Users_Survey

On the whole people were satisfied. Documentation in general and
off-site access to large physics
data sets were areas where people thought things could be improved. A
significant component of
feedback from users came in the form of the written responses at the end
of the survey. We thank you
for taking the time to write down those comments.

The results have been passed on to the Lab's Information Technology
Division and some changes
are already underway as a result of your input.

If you have any further comments or suggestions, feel free to contact me
or any other member of the
Users Group Board of Directors. And thanks again for your responses.

-- Mark Ito, for the Board
