There will be a CLAS Datamining Workshop in Tel Aviv, Israel in
conjunction with a Workshop in Celebration of the 60th Birthday of Eli
Piasetzky. The two workshops will be held June 30 - July 2, 2013.
The objective of the CLAS Datamining Workshop is to increase our
understanding of hard scattering effects in nuclei through a reanalysis
of the extensive CLAS experimental data using nuclear targets. Topics
include (but are not limited to) short range correlations, the deuteron
at high nucleon momentum, non-nucleonic degrees of freedom, color
coherent effects, and the dynamics of the nucleon-baryon resonance
interaction.
For more information about the Data Mining Workshop, please contact
Larry Weinstein <weinstei at jlab.org> <mailto:weinstei at jlab.org> and for
more information about the Birthday Workshop, please contact Guy Ron
<gron at jlab.org> <mailto:gron at jlab.org>. A conference web page will be
created soon.
This project is supported in part by the JSA Initiatives Fund Program,
an annual commitment from the JSA owners, SURA and CSC/ATD, to support
programs, initiatives, and activities that further the scientific
outreach, and promote the science, education and technology missions of
Jefferson Lab and benefit the Lab user community.
