Virginia Sales Tax Holiday for Hurricane Preparedness Supplies
This week, Virginia is waiving the sales tax on many items that are useful for weathering summer storms and hurricanes. A shortlist of useful links regarding the holiday is available on Jefferson Lab's We Hear That page, and more information can also be found on the Virginia Department of Emergency Management's website: http://www.vaemergency.gov/readyvirginia/stay-informed/hurricanes/sales-tax-holiday

Check the Jefferson Lab Lost and Found for Your Lost Stuff
The CEBAF Center Reception Desk doubles as the Jefferson Lab Lost and Found collection point. If you’ve lost or misplaced an item over the last few months, visit the Reception Desk to see if it has been turned in to Lost and Found. A range of items are currently being held, including shoes, jackets, umbrellas and glasses. Last week, an electric drill with augur attachment was turned in. All older items currently in the Lost and Found will be disposed of on June 10. To see what is in the Lost and Found, visit the CEBAF Center Reception Desk during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
