Difficulty Accessing Hazard Comm. Training?
If you're having trouble accessing the required OSHA Hazard Communication training, try this link. If you do not see the Hazard Communication Training (SAF000) listed at the bottom of the "General and Administrative" section of the page, be sure to "Refresh" your browser and check again. If you have any questions, contact Jennifer Williams, x7882. All Jefferson Lab staff, students and users must complete the training by Dec. 1. Voicemail Outage Scheduled for Dec. 3
A voicemail outage is scheduled for 5-10 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, for a software update. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this outage, contact the IT Division Helpdesk, x7155.

Sentara Mobile Mammography
Make your appointment today for the Sentara Mobile Mammography Unit, which will be at Jefferson Lab on Dec. 11, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Mammography detects breast cancer, and The American Cancer Society recommends scheduling your first or baseline mammogram by age 40. It only takes 15 minutes! This service is open to all employees as well as their family members or friends as personal health insurances will be billed. To make an appointment, visit www.sentara.com and find Mobile Mammography Screenings under Screenings and Events or call 1-800-SENTARA (736-8272).

Open Enrollment for Jefferson Lab's 401k Scheduled
The 401(k) Group Supplemental Retirement Annuity (GSRA) Open Enrollment for Calendar Year 2014 will be offered Dec. 3-13. See the full Briefs for more information.

JSA Initiatives Fund Program Call for Proposals Issued
Jefferson Science Associates has issued the FY2014 Call for Proposals for the Initiatives Fund. Original proposals are due directly to JSA by COB Dec. 23. Information on JSA's Initiatives Fund proposal process, evaluation committee, review process and the criteria to determine proposal merit, as well as specific instructions to proposers, can be found on the JSA website: http://www.jsallc.org/IF/CP14.html

2014 General Access RWP Is Available
The 2014 General Access Radiological Work Permit (RWP) is now available for signature. If you are a radiation worker at Jefferson Lab, you must sign the new RWP before Dec. 31 to retain your accelerator site access. To access the RWP, visit the web-based training page and open document SAF801kd. You may access, read and sign this document from offsite. JAG Holiday Events Scheduled
The JAG Holiday Party is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the CEBAF Center lobby. All employees, contractors, users and their children are invited. Volunteers are needed to help with the event. In addition, the lab will again participate in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's annual Toys for Tots toy drive; collection boxes will soon be placed. Finally, decorating for the Holiday Office Door/Cubicle Decorating Contest may begin Dec. 2, with prizes for Best Decorated, Most Original and Silliest.
