Dear NSAC Members:

As a result of the current US Government shutdown it is necessary to cancel
the NSAC meeting planned for Monday October 7, 2013. You will be notified
when this meeting is rescheduled at a later date. There is no estimate of
when it will be rescheduled at this time.

We understand how disruptive and costly this turn of events is, but
unfortunately, it is unavoidable under the present circumstances.  Your
understanding is appreciated.
