Dear Future EIC Users, Collaborators & Enthusiasts,


The registration for EIC Users Group Meeting at Stony Brook University
(June 24-27, 2014) is now open. Please take a few minutes to register.
Since hotels on Long Island get booked early in the summer, please also
make arrangements for the housing/hotel bookings as soon as possible.

Now - May 30th, 2014 --> Registration
May 31 --> June 11 --> Late Registration
We urge you to register early so we can make appropriate logistical
arrangements. Thank you in advance.


The agenda is being finalized (see an overview on the web pages, it will be
updated regularly). In view of the recently announced NSAC Long Range Plan (2014/2015),
we are planning presentations & discussions on the EIC science, machine &
detector design ideas, polarimetry, connections to other parts of US nuclear
science, the international context. We will also hear from the DOE about the Long
Range Plan. Furthermore, many sessions are being planned to include input from
you (the potential users). Conveners are being assigned for you to contact,
should you wish to make such presentations. Please stay tuned.


Students: (The future users of this facility!) Some funds are also available
for student's local support, see detailed on the webpages.


We look forward to seeing you at Stony Brook. We hope you will participate,
contribute, and engage in the process of getting the EIC through the next Long Range
Plan.
