There will be no edition of the JLab Weekly Briefs document this week. Here are some important announcements: 


JLab Annual Property Inventory Continues Through Sept. 12; Return Yellow Moving Totes to FM&L 
The annual Jefferson Lab Personal Property Inventory audit is still in progress, but the deadline of Sept. 12 is quickly approaching. The annual inventory was first announced in a July 10 All Staff memo. Also, the yellow totes used for moving lab personnel are in short supply. If you have one or more of the totes from a previous move, please empty it and submit an FM&L work request to have Shipping & Receiving come get it. Registration Underway for Sept. 12 United Way Day of Caring 
The annual United Way Day of Caring will be Friday, Sept. 12. Jefferson Lab is in need of 20 volunteers to interact with patients at a veterans hospital and to assist them during their annual picnic. Volunteers will assist with setup during the early part of the day and then assist with food and activities throughout the picnic. No prior experience is required. Bring a friendly smile! Volunteers may sign up to participate before Friday, Aug. 29.
