Dear colleagues:

It was brought to our attention that some people were booking the hotel
for the joint town meetings on QCD through hotels.com instead of
following the reservation link at the town meeting website:
https://phys.cst.temple.edu/qcd/accommodation.html

Please note that our Temple hosts needed to guarantee a minimum number
of rooms in order to secure the $159/night rate for this meeting. So it
is important that you make the hotel reservation from
https://phys.cst.temple.edu/qcd/accommodation.html
Please also note that the deadline for the hotel reservation is August
14. Thank you very much!

As announced previously, the APS Division of Nuclear Physics: 2014
Long-range plan Joint Town Meetings on QCD will take place at Temple
University in Philadelphia, September 13-15, 2014. We like to encourage
colleagues planning to attend the meeting to visit webpage at
https://phys.cst.temple.edu/qcd/
for: a) Registration: Click on ‘Registration
b) Hotel reservation: Click on ‘Accommodation

All reservation details are provided on this page including an explicit
link to the Double Tree Hotel. All reservations have to be made through
this link to obtain the preferred rate of $159/night.
The rate is available for the entire time of the meeting arriving on
Friday, September 12 and leaving on Tuesday, September 16 (4 nights). It
is however not required to stay 4 nights to obtain the preferred rate.
Please note the deadline for making the Hotel reservation is August 14,
2014. The LOC strongly encourages you to stay in the Double Tree Hotel.
Registration folders including subway tokens will be provided at check-in.
