Dear Colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to EHT 2014
<http://link.perimeterinstitute.ca/c/306/94a16e95334c7bdb76be3dfedadd6ae50d6760756ce96dfbf9041383c5a360e7>,
which will take place at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics,
Waterloo, Canada from Monday, November 10 – Friday November 14, 2014.
Please forward this message to anyone who might be interested.

The purpose of this conference is to discuss the broad scientific
context of, early results from, and future development of the Event
Horizon Telescope (EHT), the first astronomical instrument capable of
imaging a known black hole. All aspects of black hole astrophysics and
gravitational physics that may be probed by the EHT are of interest.

With the meeting a little over two months away, participants will want
to register and begin making travel and lodging arrangements soon.
Details can be found at the meeting website

where you may alsoregister for the conference. Limited travel support
is available for postdocs and students, so please do consider bringing
the more junior members of your group!
