The National Science Foundation (NSF) and Oak Ridge Associated
Universities (ORAU) are pleased to announce that they will sponsor a
maximum of 20 young researchers to attend the 3rd annual Heidelberg
Laureate Forum in Heidelberg, Germany, from August 23 through 28, 2015.
NSF and ORAU invite your institution to nominate *computer science and
mathematics *graduate students and postdocs to be members of the U.S.
Delegation to this prestigious meeting.

The HLF offers accepted young researchers the great opportunity to
personally meet the winners of the most prestigious prizes in their
fields. For one week, the recipients of the Abel Prize, the ACM A.M.
Turing Award, the Fields Medal, and the Nevanlinna Prizeengage in a
cross-generational scientific dialogue with young researchers in
Heidelberg, Germany.

During the HLF week, young researchers will be given the exclusive
possibility to profoundly connect with their scientific role models and
find out how they made it to the top of their fields. 24 laureates
attended the 2nd HLF, including Martin Hairer and Manjul Bhargava, both
2014 Fields Medalists, and Leslie Lamport, the current winner of the ACM
A.M. Turing Award. Together with their fellow laureates, they shared
their knowledge with 200 outstanding young researchers from nearly 60
different countries. The Forum format consists of formal lectures in
the morning, and the remainder of the day is set aside for the young
researchers to meet informally with the Laureate scientists, as well as
with their peers from around the world.
