The 1st announcement of the HYP2015 conference
========================================

*Conference Website:

The 12th International Conference on Hypernuclear and Strange Particle
Physics (HYP2015) will take place at Tohoku University in Sendai,
Japan, from September 7 (Mon) through 12 (Sat), 2015.

HYP2015 will be the twelfth one in the series of HYP conferences
initiated in 1982 in Heidelberg and held periodically every three
years, following the successful 11th HYP conference in Barcelona in
2012. The HYP conference brings together theoreticians and
experimentalists working on hadron and nuclear physics with
strangeness. The topics of the HYP conference have been extended to
related fields such as low-energy aspects of QCD, dense and cold
matter, as well as hadronic and nuclear systems with heavier flavors.

  *Scientific Program:
The scientific program will be organized under the following topics:

1. Production, structure and decay of hypernuclei
2. Multistrange systems
3. Production of strangeness
4. Interactions of mesons and baryons with strangeness
5. Strangeness in hadron structure
6. Strange mesons in nuclei
7. Strangeness in astrophysics and in extreme forms of matter
8. Heavy flavor systems
9. Hypernuclei in heavy ion collisions
10. Future experiments and facilities

Pre-conference event (SNP School 2015)

As a pre-conference event, we are also planning to organize
"International School for Strangeness Nuclear Physics: SNP School
2015" at Tohoku University in the preceding week of the HYP2015
conference. Details will be announced later.

Please look at the web page for details.
