The Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute
for Nuclear Research is organizing the
*"XVI Workshop on High Energy Spin Physics "*,

which will take place in
*/Dubna, Russia, September 8-12, 2015/*

The First /Workshop on High Energy Spin Physics/ chaired by /Prof. L.I.
Lapidus/ was held in Dubna more then 30 years ago. This was followed by
the series of biennial workshops in the odd years. The recent one was in
Dubna on October 8-12, 2013. The Proceedings of the workshop with talks
are available from the Publishing Department of JINR at
http://www1.jinr.ru/Proceedings/Proceedings_index.html
<http://www1.jinr.ru/Proceedings/Proceedings_index.html> and at site of
DSPIN-13 http://theor.jinr.ru/~spin/2013/proceedings13.pdf
<http://theor.jinr.ru/%7Espin/2013/proceedings13.pdf>

The XVI Workshop will take place in Dubna September 8-12, 2015 under the
sponsorship of JINR and the International Committee for High Energy Spin
Physics as a joint Dubna-Prague-Warsaw Workshop.

We hope that it offers an opportunity to a large group of physicists and
students from Russia and other JINR Member States to get acquainted with
the most recent experimental and theoretical results in the spin physics.

About 110 scientists from different research centers are expected to
participate.

*Scientific Program*

The Workshop will cover a wide range of spin phenomena at high and
intermediate energies such as:

  * recent experimental data on spin physics
  * the nucleon spin structure and GPD's
  * spin physics and QCD
  * spin physics in the Standard Model and beyond
  * T-odd spin effects
  * polarization and heavy ion physics
  * spin in gravity and astrophysics
  * the future spin physics facilities
  * spin physics at NICA
  * polarimeters for high energy polarized beams
  * acceleration and storage of polarized beams
  * the new polarization technology
  * related subjects
