Dear Jlab Users,

First of all, I would like to remind you to join SESAPS when you renew your APS membership. It is an easy and costless step that you can do online. Your regional membership does not add any extra fee to your national APS membership while it is relevant for funding our unit!

The Southeastern Section of APS (SESAPS) presents three awards yearly:
-- the Jesse Beams Award recognizing especially significant or meritorious research in physics, the major portion of which was carried out in the ten-state SESAPS region in the Southeast,
-- the George Pegram Award honoring someone with a career of "Excellence in the Teaching of Physics in the Southeast,
-- the Francis Slack Award honoring persons who have during their career exhibited "Excellence in Service to Physics in the Southeast.
